Energy transition roadmap towards zero GHG emission in Chile 2030 – 2050

Funded by ENEL the aim of the project was the development of an energy system model for Chile and the analysis of decarbonisation scenarios towards 2040. A TIMES energy system model was developed, incorporating a rich technology database and was used to produce three scenarios analysing alternative pathways for a net-zero carbon future for Chile by 2050.
