A project funded by the World Bank, with the key objective to develop, model and analyse scenarios determining the least cost combination of electricity, natural gas and hydrogen infrastructure to decarbonise the Moroccan electricity system. Specific focus is given in determining the optimal deployment of the different technologies that provide the necessary flexibility to the electricity system to accommodate a high level of variable renewables, utilising the SDDP/Optgen software.
